this is a 2003 ram 1500 w/ hemi, all of the fuses and flashers are in a big box in from of the battery, the trailer lights have their own fuses in this huge box. i looked for the flasher , but it seems to be inside the box , and under the fuse board, not easy to get to. i did have the trucks...

update ; well so far I have talked to three dealers, not any real help, no one seems to have had this problem... one guy suggest replacing the flasher, doubtful but cheap so i ll try it... second guy thought a new harness was in order...I dont think so .....last guy suggest the turn...

i need a little help here, problem is the trailer wiring on my 2003 ram pickup, it has the factory trailer package and wiring . problem is I only have 7 volts on the turn signal wires. the running lights do have 12 volts. the trailer lights do work when powered up with a battery charger...

if you have an electric multi meter ,,, you can use it to check for a dead short...go to the wire that burned, find where it goes to and check it at that point for continuity to ground...if it shows open circuit it is not shorted...if it does show continuity to ground you have a dead short...

the firewall ground is needed , but most likely not the problem , sounds like a dead short.( amp gauge ?)

I am not sure about using that module in a conversion ..but on a gm hei the terminal you have marked as number one is the tach drive .it doesnt go to battery neg. if you dont have a tach for hei then you may not need to use it at all, .also ...aftermarket coils that are mopar specific may...

try to explain a little more for you. i use to run mallory s also , the last one i used was a rev pole, in a 426 wedge, the thing was ok for the first coyple years, after that it was a question every day at the track, got spark today? to tell you the truth if summit and jegs didnt sell malory...

MSD.... hands down.....plus they have all kinds of options too..... if your running a auto tranny use their " two step " along with the ignition box , it sets your launch rpm as well , my msd 6al box is 6 yrs old , never had a problem with it ...

lets see if I can help you understand a little ..starting from the starter relay put in the fuse link or circuit breaker , from there run a heavy (10 gauge) wire to the NEW amp gauge, connect to the drivers side of the NEW gauge, next run another heavy ( 10 gauge )wire from the passenger side of...

any reason the two wires from the bal.res. cant be hooked together ?

i have had dimmer switches do crazy things, make sure the connection is clean and check it with a jumper wire ( bypassing the switch with the jumper wire ) at least it will eliminate the dimmer switch if nothing else.. good luck .. wiring sucks

msd units like 14 volts or better...get down around 12 volts and you may have problems with the msd ...those sites listed above are excellent, just make sure you have a solid 14 volts to the msd when you are done. ( or real close to it )
