the easiest way is to do the u joint to u joint measurement with everything in place...its real easy...

you'll have to measure from center of u-joint to center of ujoint

dude, the cable thing scared me, but i have a cable throttle and kickdown now....its the best.

there is a difference in 904's from the slant to 8. see if the bolt holes match up from the back of your engine block to the trans.

if you use the equation from moparts, i have a 3.91 with 26.56 inch tall tire. the example they give on their doeswnt make any sense either. 3.55's with 27.5" tires gets you a 34 tooth speedo gear? it doesnt make sense...

i have 245/60r15's

so if you're inbetween the 24 and 26" tire and have 3.91 gears...what speedo gear do you use....anyone?

if you dont have green bearings on your axles you will need the shims. not sure where to get those because i have green bearings...i have an 8 3/4 with 3.91's and i use 75w140 with 2 4 oz bottles of friction modifier...mopar parts store should have that...any other help pm me...

i dont think so, cus the moser axles are sposed to be like 60% stronger than stock axles...

i do have the 489...so that makes sense if you're right...

he ran it with the axles and had no problems. i called him for the same reason you had....he heard it too but didnt have a problem...again these are with moser axles

i didnt remove the spacers in my 3.91's but i have moser axles. havnt run it yet either. but the guy who had the gears before me ran it with the spacers in with moser axles too...not sure if this helps...

im a mechanic in a chrysler dealer.......atf+4 is rec from chrysler.just like someone said it has a friction modifier. if an older minvan comes in and it says on the stick,(use trans fluid atf+) we put in atf+4...our dealer only carries atf+4 for auto trans...even the new manual gear boxes take...

if srt8's arnt hp cars right out of the plant....than im a jet pilot..

im going to use mopar atf+4. thats fully synthetic...its used in all the nag 1 trans in the srt8 cars, trucks etc...
