69 Barracuda in dash tach does not work with electro ignition

Send your tach to Redline Gauge Works. Shannon guarantees his work for two years and will work with the electronic ignition upgrade. The stock gauge is known to fail. I sent mine to him for a couple hundred bucks for the conversion and am very happy.

    Wiring Harness Woes

My 1969 Barracuda convertible. 340, Auto. A01 Light group. I have poured over the wiring diagram, but seem to be missing something. I know that the lighter has 12V, and I know that the bridge at the passenger buzzer works. I am just puzzled as to why I had lights, then when I move over to deal...

    Fusible Link Replacement?

It comes with one. One the one end, there is a black clip and a spade, on the other end, it is the spade that goes into the bulkhead connector. Just trying to the the remnants of the old one out without boogering or butchering it badly.

    Fusible Link Replacement?

Anyone have a good way of replacing a fried fusible link? It is stretchy like a rubber band (and I know why it cooked). Fixed the electrical issue, and ordered a new unit from Classic Industries. It looks like it unhooks easy on one end, the other end connects at the firewall, and looks to be...

Ignition was on the car when I bought it. 4 pin chrome box, NEW MDS Blaster 2 Coil (which replaced the MP one, albeit temporarily till I return the MDS one if I sort this out), NEW ballast resistor (1 ohm). Dizzy cap and rotor indicate it was from a 70's Barracuda (since the parts look the...

69 Cuda fish dead in the water....

Here is what I did: Checked spark at the coil by pulling the wire, inserting a plug and grounding on the engine. Result: Blue spark - seems we are good there. Changed out the ballast resistor. When I pulled of the old one (Made in Mexico), it was cracked where they fill in on the back...
