    Drum brake nightmare 10"rear

There are 3 kits that are needed to get all the springs for the drum brakes.....1 is a "MAXI PACK" and contains the return springs and hold down springs for both sides. You will also need 2 "adjuster kits" 1 for each side. They are left and right specific. They have the adjuster wheel...

Having a fit with the passenger's drum on '67 Dart

Check the adjusters......I think that the 10" drums have slightly bigger adjusters and you may have that installed on the side that is giving you the problem. Also check the bar (I think its called an equalizer) that goes between the shoes just above the axle line. The 10" drums also may use a...

    Major Brake Problem!

Agree. It does sound like some sort of mechanical problem. Check the pedal linkage under the dash, linkage behind the booster, and pull the master cylinder off the booster, make sure the push rod is seated correctly. If you do need a booster rebuild, check out booster Dewey. He does...

69 Dart brake line picture needed

Can someone post a pic of the brake lines from the master cylinder to the proportioning valve on a 69 dart with power drum brakes. 10 inch drums, but I don't think that makes a difference. By the way, my screen name is due to the engine and 3.91 rear which I thought was in the car when I...

    10" Rear Brake Bar Spring....???

I needed them also for my 69 Swinger with 10" drums. NAPA was able to get them individually, without ordering the bar.

    Left hand wheel studs

Yes, I'm still looking. Are you sure that these are for 10" front drums, not the 9" drums. The studs for 10" drums have a larger diameter on the knurled part.

    Left hand wheel studs

I tried NAPA, they could not get them. I still have the left hand threads on the rear, and I do all my own work, so no one is going to break them.

    Left hand wheel studs

Does anyone have or know where I can get 5 Left hand studs for the 10" front drums on my 69 Dart? The closest I've found are the studs for the 9" drums from Year One, but they are a different size. Thanks
