    wrong clutch fork?

Interesting, I just went 383 from 340. The fork from the SB is too short. Brewers says it's the same piece BB or SB. As I see it I need the 12 1/2 to line up with the Z bar.

The DF is a good choice. It will work well for you. Use the steel Bell. You like your legs? Use the steel bell.

    Clutch Recommendation

I know! your right. I'm 45, been at this a while. Technology has also helped tires and traction. In the 70's not so many concrete launch pads and VFT.

    Clutch Recommendation

The Hays is a POS!! Slipped like crazy. The engagement is way low on the pedal so it makes for a hard shift at speed. Rated at 500 hp my ***! Dont ever get that piece of crap!

    Clutch Recommendation

I think I just found out what my problem was. The pivot point inside the bell for the fork was broken. When I went to put the fork on with the new bearing it fell off on the floor in 2 pieces! Crap! I guess the clutch is okay afterall.

    Clutch Recommendation

Okay, I now am sure the CF PP is going shithouse on me. It works great until the engine gets well warmed up, then, the pedal pops and is just hard to push in. So, I am looking at a new set up too. It wont be a Centerforce. This sucks! Mopar nats next month.

What Clutch you 4-speed guys (and gals) running????

I am using a Centerforce DF. So far it has held up to 3500 drops and 6500 powershifts. The pedal is nice and easy too. It does'nt slip very good for hole shots. It grabs.
