RMS front suspension on 63 valiant?

If you need to keep the valving turned all the way up, sounds like your springs might be too soft.

Rallye dash from a 67-69 barracuda. The 340 Darts, Duster’s and Demon’s could also be ordered with them.

    MadDart's 4-Link Rearend

I’d heard he was planning on building/selling a 4 link kit but I’ve never seen it available yet.

    MadDart's 4-Link Rearend

Whynotfab.com is dead and the links for parts from jegs are also dead ends now. If I get some time to just sit down and scour the web, I know I can find everything needed for all this but I figured I’d see if anyone happened to have current links/sources for everything needed in this parts list.

    Front Suspension adjustment

I think if your frame/suspension is in that bad of shape, I’d see about getting a 2wd Dakota or S10 frame and set the body on that. I just picked up a 2wd short wheelbase s10 and the wheelbase is 108” same as a Duster or barracuda. The short wheelbase 1st gen dakotas have a wheelbase of 111.9”...

    Planning my winter upgrades

Well, it’s your car so obviously you can do as you please but since switching my Duster to 1.03 bars I’ll never go smaller than that for a street car. In fact, if I buy new bars I’ll go 1.06 or 1.12. It just drives and handle SO much better. And that’s with all rubber bushings and Monroe shocks...

    Planning my winter upgrades

I personally would add at least the PST 1.03” torsion bars and tell the alignment shop to get as much caster as they can with -.5 to -.75 degrees camber. Since you have power steering, you’ll be able to run a LOT of caster. You May want to check about getting a set of tubular UCA’s instead of...

Can I cut here? (QA1 upper control arm issue)

I know this is an older thread but I’d read it awhile back as I was randomly surfing FABO. I’d forgot all about this thread until I went to install my QA1 UCA’s and they hit in the same spot as the OP’s. I instantly had a flashback to this thread so a quick google search later, I found this...

    Cracked UCA mounts

I’m definitely gonna have to check mine as well! I have my Duster on blocks right now to get ready to install my QA1 UCA’s. I know my alignment slipped so I’m gonna look these mounts over real well.

Is it a good conversation solution??

Just an FYI, in the future, there’s no need to use one of those. The inner shaft is a two piece shaft that slides into itself, the manual and power steering columns use the exact same inner shafts, they're just “collapsed” to different lengths. The two inner shafts are simply held at their...

I want to smooth out my ride...

I have a dumpster at my house, send me those bilsteins (I’ll cover shipping) and I’ll dispose of them properly. I’m sure the “great” state of California doesn’t want them in their landfills anyway. :D

    Raising car

Yea just put a jack under the k-member and jack it up. And use jack stands for safety

And lift the weight off the front suspension before adjusting the torsion bars to make it easier to turn the adjusters and prevent possibly stripping the threads.

    Show That Lowered A-body!

Did this ever happen? I’m considering painting my Duster black eventually and might try a wrap first to see what a pain in the *** it is to keep clean.

    control arm stiffners

I’m guessing the benefit of taking the slip out of the socket is that once the LCA is bolted in place, it’s true that the socket can’t move but if there’s slop there, the LCA can move on the socket.

    Proforged sleeved polygraphite LCA bushings!

I have a set of your Delrins but haven’t gotten around to installing them yet. So do you leave the outer shell in the LCA or press it out?
