Yeah that’s exactly why I’m considering going big block. I’ve always had slant 6 and and small block stuff. Popped the hood on the D100 and instantly thought “I could install a big block and still have plenty of room!” So I’m thinking either a tunnel ram, blower or turbo.
Thanks! I guess once they start treating the roads around here this winter, I’ll have to pull my heads and see if my block has the oil holes. If not, I might just drill my aluminum heads and do the external oiling as shown in that thread.
Wow! Your build is insane!! I'll bet that thing'll run like a scalded cat!! Pretty sure your first set up would be something I'd be goin for. Did you ever run the 1/4 with your first set up?
