Widest rim and tire for full mini tub to frame

I run 390/40r17 on a 12" wide wheel on my Duster body. Same wheel well set up and you have to option on a Dart to move the tire back and center it in the opening.

    Duster Rallye Wheels

You had better check your Duster bolt pattern, I'm pretty sure that my 73' Duster had the larger 5x4.5" bolt pattern, not the 5x4.0"

Really.....You think that was related to what he asked ? No. Once again, you throw your comments that do not help or move the discussion forward. So Move on..

Low buck options for 17 inch wheels

Boy, all those non related opinions to the original post really helps the guy out with his question...Way to keep it Classy FABO, you should all be real proud of yourselves. I have to agree with AbodyBomber, a used set of Mustang wheels will be the cheapest way to go.

    Front tire height

275/35R18 = 25.4"-25.7"...not really getting you to where you need to be, I would buy a good proven coil over suspension then build around that.

    Front tire height

    215/55R17....about 8.9" section width.

    Front tire height

I'm currently running a 26.4" tire on a 17" rim and could have gone taller...But I'm running a HDK "Slammer". I am adding 18" over the winter and going with 27" tires, not for header clearance but to fill the opening a little more.

    67 Dart- Can I fit 15x7 wheels both front/back?

Pics of pro-touring Duster with 20s?

Custom made Full wheel tubs, the problem with a "mini-tub" is the curvature of the outer wheel well, it wont allow you to drop the car down over the wheel all the way and still has a semi- jacked up look...everybody runs a 325/50 tire to say they have a 12" wide tire but you never can really get...

Pics of pro-touring Duster with 20s?

Actually, it's all easy to get low. The rear is a Custom made Triangulated 4 link with 12" QA1 coil overs...fully adjustable. The front is has a HDK (HemiDenny K member) with 10" QA1 coilovers and Wilwood 2" drop spindles..... again full adjustable. I cut a wedge shape in the front lip of the...

Pics of pro-touring Duster with 20s?

Billet Specialties SLG 60 front and there recently discontinued Rallye in the rear. I couldn't get the Rallye with the correct Backspacing I needed for the front, so the suggested the SLG 60 "Soft lip" same center pattern design but I could get the required Backspacing needed (5.125")to set the...

Pics of pro-touring Duster with 20s?

The wheel size 17"-20" really isn't as important as the stance of the car once finished, you just can't slap on set of off the shelf wheels and hope for the best. In my opinion the car has to be low...and the tires and possibly some wheel has to be tucked up inside the fender. unfortunately...

Pics of pro-touring Duster with 20s?

If your considering smaller, you could always go with something like I'm running... 17"x7" with 5.125 B.S front and 17"x11" rear with 4.5" B.S. The rear has to come down another inch still and you could take care of the shiny part with some Plasti Dip spray on coating.

Pics of pro-touring Duster with 20s?

Here are a couple Dusters with 20" wheels, the Orange car use to belong to a member here before he sold it and the other is off of the Pro-Touring Mopars forum.

    Rust removal

If there rusted that bad and you remove that rust you'll probably have very pitted wheels which will require filling and sanding before painting just like body work. Unless your going for a OEM judged car with date coded parts you might be better off buying a set of reproduction steel wheels...

will 17x11 wheel fit between my frame rail and body...

    I run a 17" x 11" wheel and a 390/40R17 tire with room to spare.

    front skinny for the street?

15"x6" depending on the offset would be my choice for the street.

    That modern look....

Obviously you haven't seen the video of this car going through the cones on a slalom course...sticks like on rails and no rubbing issues, Definatley not Photo shopped.
