Okay sorry for the mistake, I checked the part number, after some research I found out that this a '73 340 crank that is cast, but is also shot peened for extra strength and carries the casting number of 3462387. So is it worth anything before I scrap it ?

I assumed since it was a 1971 that it was a forged. Ill research it more before I continue . Thanks for the heads up..... if its cast, It will just go to the trash can.
