How much does 1 jet size affect A/F?

UHH WHAT? winter air depending on the location can be dry, and if the temp isn't to low its good dense air. In the summer the air is thin, less dense, with humidity making it worse due to water content.

How much does 1 jet size affect A/F?

well... there are only about 100 factors that would change that "number". that said if your at 10.5 i would pull three and do another run

i bet it will like it! and be careful on the vac advance, hook it up to a vacuum pump or something and see how much more timing its throwing in.

    dual carb setup help

no problem. Your total is still to low unless you have pinging. Also by checking total timing your not getting the full "timing curve". let it idle and see what its at, anything less then 16* and you need to re-curve the distributor, i bet it would like 20* at idle and 34-36 above 2500

    dual carb setup help

probably want at least 18* of timing at idle, closer to 34* above 2500rpm on the carbs undo the linkage and loosen the idle speed till its closed. from there set all your idle mix screws to 1.5 turns out. Now with your new timing adjustment start it and see what it does. increase idle speed...

there is stuff for -6 but not -8. you can push the line over this guy though. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/der-98201/overview/

    an fittings

Well the easiest thing would be a -8 Female to 5/16 barb or run -8 from the cell to a filter, then NPT to 5/16 barb

Car bogs down like its out of gas

oh s**T you left the foam in it! Pump junk eats that foam like there is no tomorrow... pull all the foam out, drain and wash/dry the tank, blow out the lines, replace filter and pump and try again. this is why you always put a filter before the pump

    race fuel cell / tank

what ever you do if your running pump junk remove the foam... the foam will melt and jack stuff up... i havn't seen a foam for Alky yet but that would probably survive our ethanol. As stated run a good -8 or -10 feed from the tank to filter, and filter to pump, then drop on size depending on...

    Air filters

i recall something like a honda motor 2.0L at 7500 rpm needed like a 1 sqft air filter minimum for normal paper flow rating, thats a big filter considering most are half that lol

    Air filters

i dont have the book infront of me but if you do the math for flow needed vs flow given its usually WAY off. on my slant, yes a slant, with a brand new 14x5 paper filter and a hemi scoop i slowed down vs open carb. i jetted with no gain on the paper filter.

    Air filters

you can never run a big enough air filter, go as big as will fit... one of the biggest restrictions on a performance build is the air filter, even a KN 14x5 isn't big enough for 90% of our street cars...

    Fuel lines

the green stuff is just an anti corrosion coating, i use these lines all the time. Can you post a pic of the bender? when running a 90* on what i'll assume is 3/8" you need to keep the tubing TIGHT against bender, or its going to lift and kink. Who am i kidding! you know all this already!

    High idle then dies

no problem High float causes fuel to get sucked thru the booster which you seeing Sunk or stuck float causes the same thing by not metering how full the bowl is. High fuel pressure pushes more fuel into the bowl as the float cant shut the valve Needle and seat can stick causing the again...
