    Is this cam too wild for power brakes?

    Funny my Challenger has a big lunati solid cam and does not make a lot of vacuum. Brakes have a great 1st stomp but seem to lack a very good vacuum. My to do list includes putting my vacuum pump on the booster to make sure it's not bleeding down.

    I went the Scarebird way and my Rally wheels fit as well as a set of Cragars I got too. On my '67 Barracuda SBP 14" Best upgrade ever.

    Scarebird Conversion Almost Complete

    Looks great! I also did the Scarebird this spring and LOVE IT! Stops even and smooth. I still run manual brakes and after going with the 7/8 bore master cylinder have great peddle effort. That kit is well worth it! Whose front end parts did you use for the re-build? Kit or separate pieces?

    Master Cylinder Differences?

    From the research I did for the NON boosted brakes the smaller the bore the better/easier the peddle effort. I recently did a disk conversion and used a 15/16" bore per what I had read. The peddle effort does not seem excessive and I was very happy with that choice.
