Here are soem I took of my dads original hyper pac. I couldn't get in very close, too much stuff around it. He got this from a friend, has original carb and nos exhaust manifolds. Never even been on an engine. Well, except this one.

Cool. Heres my dads aluminum slant. He bought the rebuilt block from a friend and an original Hyperpack intake, carb, and nos exhaust manifolds. Its just mocked up now, he recently got a comp cam, springs and chain and gears from e-bay. Plans are for a 60 Valiant wagon.

Your carb looks nasty inside. Is there some reversion going on there, or back fires through the carb?

Break the cam in for 20 min as suggested. Check over everything and go run it hard a few times. Seals the rings. The only way I have ever done it. Just like they do on the dyno!

I found a dual one barrel intake. Its an Offy I think. Has both carbs, throttle linkage and fuel lines. Its used and need cleaning/carb rebuilding. Any opinions on what its worth. Guy wants $200.00.

Do you have your vacuum advance hooked up?

I would guess they are weber side drafts. And I don't see why anyone would put them on anything less than a 225. That is a fuel pressure gauge.
