    Tie rod Difference???

The only difference that I can think of is the adjuster sleeve. The early cars it is about 1" longer, but the hole and taper is the same on the center link and steering arm.

    Dillinger tie rod conversion

The end with the tapered adapter does go on the steering arm located on the spindle Yes you want them parallel when the car is sitting at ride height. The factory setup has the inboard side of the tie rod mounted on top of the center link and puts the tie rod at an angle even at ride height...

    Dillinger Chassis???

Thanks everyone for the kind words. There have been growing pains and I really appreciate everyone's patience. I am working on detailed instructions for the lower control arm install, but have them for the uppers. It's hard to find time with a regular job, family and sleep. Here is a video I...

    Need Tubular UCA`s

Thanks guys. Here is a link to my upper control arm torture test. The arms would have take more pressure if it wasn't for the weak 1/4" channel. LOL http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=191040&highlight=torture

    I need pictures!

Since you already have them on I would mount the calipers to double check.

    I need pictures!

I am running an early sway bar and there is no interference at all. It is very tight, but this is at full lock.

    I need pictures!

Awesome. Just so you know, you may need to swap spindle side to mount the calipers in the front. I have heard that there is interference with the coilover when mounted on the rear. I have mounted mine on the front and there is clearance. FYI

    I need pictures!

I am in the process of updating my chassis parts website and will be putting Customers Rides in my About Page Gallery. If you have installed any of my parts on your cars such as strut rods, steering linkage, coilover conversion, lower radiator support or other parts then please post a pic here...

    Dillinger Front Suspension Install

Thanks for the heads up. I'm kind of stumped. I have three different K members here that I have used for test fitting and have not had an issue with the spacers contacting the K member and non of them have the gap that yours does. Actually they are kind of tight and difficult to get the...

**Coil Over Conversion with Stock K**

It is possible to move everything inboard an inch. I have done it in the past for another car. This most likely will limit turning radius and possibly have to use a shorter tie rod sleeve. If you use my adjustable uppers it will help adjusting camber also.

This conversion will work on all year a bodies. Thanks

Whats wrong with my Dusters front end?

How many degrees of positive caster when you did the alignment?

Whats wrong with my Dusters front end?

Sounds like not enough caster to me if you have an issue at higher speeds. Are the tires wearing even?

    front end alignment problems.

We need pictures. Especially of this.

Who can cut and respline my axles- Western Washington

Dutchman is in Portland http://www.dutchmanaxles.com/ Shipping might not be that bad, but I ordered a set of their street/strip axles rather than having mine resplined. It just made more sense, plus you will have a stronger axle and a better alloy. Just my 02

    Lower control arm adjustment

Have you backed out the torsion bar adjusters?

    K member difference?

mcnopple is right, it's a bolt in deal. You will need to swap the column when you change the box.

**Coil Over Conversion with Stock K**

On the top and bottom of the coilover shock there will be misalignment joints to allow for caster adjustment (moving the Lower control arm forward and rearward).

**Coil Over Conversion with Stock K**

1/2" is standard on the bolt size and is what QA1 and Strange use. The gap with the misalignment joint is 1" also.

new part i whipped out the other day

It's funny that you say that Craig. The other day I made a set of axle sliders for my BMW G650X out of delrin. I refuse to pay $100 for something that is designed to be destroyed. :D

Art Morrison Weld in IFS (coilover)

Thanks Doug. Here is the setup for about $750 with no permanent modification to the stock K member, just a small amount of welding. It includes adjustable uppers, adjustable lowers, adjustable strut rods and coilover adapters to the factory shock tower. All you need is coilovers and springs...

Finally Small Ball Joint Tubular Upper Control Arms are here

I could not find a small ball joint screw in sleeve anywhere so I machined my own. It took some trial and error, but I am finally happy. Like my other arms they are engineered with an additional +5 degrees of caster. These should help out some of the guys not wanting to run a BBJ spindle...

Making my own upper control arms

It's funny because I have checked 3 different A bodies that I own with a set of calipers and they are all different. I mean like .100"+ so getting them where they fit all snug is not easy. I check every few on a cut up frame rail that I have in the shop. I am still working the bugs out of the...
