    I am not sure what you are asking me but the cylinder and seal go in from the out side and you have to attach the rod to it, then push in on cylinder from outside to help with clip installation. it takes twp people, well, it did for me!

    I contacted SCAT Enterprises (PROCAR) and they said to use adapters for the Dart part #'s 81432 divers side and 81433 passenger side they will bolt right up!

    you might be right. I could put it on top, but I will still put some foam padding between bracket and Dash Pad! for support and protection!

    I am thinking about Nut Zert's for bracket and mounting TAC or welding or gluing a solid 3/16" or 1/4" piece aluminum to backside of bracket and tap thru that.

    do you have a better picture of how it is mounted to dash? did the fuel gauge come with that or did you just mount it there your self? I really do need a fuel gauge before I need a TAC! I like the TAC there but it looks like you had to cut the dash! I might be able to make a bracket that would work!

    I re-read your post to see what model Hurst shifter you said you had used and realized you said "Problematic" HA HA you tryin to say that I am going to have problems?

    I take that as a "YES" I can! Thanks. The floor pan in my car looks to have already had a floor shifter mounted on it already, but I did not get the front seat with the car and I bought the bench seat latter on with out giving it much of a thought until after I bought the floor shifter!

    I have a question for anyone who might know! my car is an automatic on the column with a "Bench Seat" and I would like to put the shifter on the floor! Am I going to be able to do that or do I have to go with bucket seats to be able to use floor shifter (Hurst Pistol Grip Quarter Stick)

    You mean that I do not have to take it apart and fix something before I put it in, things are looking better! thanks for the info! after the steering column on to heater box and then I will be done with interior except for carpet, seats and sill plates Bill
