    Project 6-71 340 Demon

Yes you do! Once I decided to build a blower motor, I talked to everyone I could that had or had built one to get little tips from everyone, and out of 20 people, you'll get 20 different thoughts on the subject. The guys that were the most helpful were a lot of the professional racers at the...

    Project 6-71 340 Demon

The boost isn't the problem, it's the 600 ft pounds of torque and the stress from the blower that will cause the mains to fail. You talk to anyone that has built a blower motor, and they'll almost all say the same thing, a girtle is a must with a small block with that much torque...

    Project 6-71 340 Demon

Sorry to say, but there is no such thing. And 8 pounds of boost out of a 671 on a 340 is a lot, you definitely need a good girdle or 4 bolt main caps installed. You also need to make sure that your final compression isn't too high with that much boost.

    Supercharged 410/408 stroker?

I only had it going for about a year and I've been just too busy to fine tune it to see how it will do. I tuned it to drive it and that's as far as I got, I'm lucky if I have the time to make it to the locals cruise nights.

School me on supercharging a 360

I didn't read through all this but there seems to be a lot of misleading and completely ridiculous info being posted. Take it from those that have built supercharged street cars and ask everyone you can and do your homework before you spend one penny on a blower and don't take short cuts to save...

    fuelsystem for blown 340 ?

I would at least install a girdle, that will strengthen the lower end quite a bit. I would do some research on the blower you are using and ask around to see what issues others have had with the same setup and what fuel delivery and boost they are running. One thing I've learned while setting...

    fuelsystem for blown 340 ?

I don't know much about the warlbro pumps so I can't say much about them but, make sure you talk to BDS or Dyers and see if they would recommend them on a blower setup. You need high volume, not high pressure! high pressure is good with injection but not with carburetors and definitely not for...

    fuelsystem for blown 340 ?

I'm running 93 oct pump gas with a BG 220 pump into a #8 line to a pair of Demon 750 double pump blower carbs, then through a BG regulator and back to the cell though a #10 line and it works great on my 416
