We had a good time and I picked up some 11" B body brakes at a decent price.

I plan on being there.

I missed out on a NICE pair of 67 Dart fenders for $100 yesterday. Someone beat me to them and the seller was nowhere to be found. Saw lots of nice cars.

We'll be loading up in about an hour. I won't be bringing the Dart because I sold the wheels off of it and my Cragar's aren't here yet, but I'm looking forward to walking the swap meet area and seeing all the cars!

@clinteg How were track conditions? What did you run? A friend went Friday night and said that the track was pretty slick.

Did anyone get any pics? We stayed in KC for the big show at Arrowhead.

Thanks for the update. We were out of town last weekend and I was bummed that we had missed it. Now I have another chance to go!

I agree. Very laid back atmosphere. We park spectator side about half way down. Set up our chairs, grill and cooler and just relax and enjoy the show. Some years there's a pretty good swap meet, others it's just a few guys. Picked up a few bargains there.

We have gone for the last several years. It's a pretty good day. Not a huge show by any means, but Mopar shows in this area are getting pretty hard to come by. Unfortunately, I let someone else schedule a small vacation to Vegas for us and they chose that weekend.

Damn. I've been the last two years but this is my Saturday to work.

The Mopar swap meet in Columbia has been gone for a couple of years now. It used to be the first weekend in February I think. The county raised the price of the fairgrounds and the club that was putting it on could no longer afford it.

In my opinion, it has. We've been going since it was held out in Blue Springs. I went two years ago and there was about five people selling parts. Lots of late model Chargers and Challengers. I took my Dart out there and not one person came up and talked to us. I'm not going back.

I'm up and packing the cooler right now! I'll be in the silver Ford Escape on the first page, come on by if you see the hatch open. We usually walk around for a while then head back to the truck for refreshments.

I swapped Saturdays with a guy so that I can be there. My engine is still in the machine shop so we'll be driving down in the SUV again this year, but we're still looking forward to it. This is what my Escape looks like, except that the hatch will be up and there will be two guys drinking beer...

I might just buy that and hang it on my garage wall. I had one back in the eighties and have always wanted another!

My buddy and I went last year. It was a pretty good time. I bought some stuff at the swap meet.

No, I talked to the club who hosted that swap, and that's exactly what happened. They were priced out of the building by the county. I don't understand it? A ton of livestock events in the middle of the winter?!? Seems like they could find a place outdoors to hold it, maybe in the spring...

That's what I was saying above. That club needs some new members with older cars, but every event I've been to, they don't seem very friendly or aren't very active in recruiting new members. Very cliquish. They gave my buddy **** for having a beer in his hand, so we left.

It's held at the Bass Pro in Olathe, KS. I've been every year for the last twenty or so, and it keeps getting smaller and smaller. Last year there were about FIVE people selling parts in the swap meet area. Always the same cars, now there are more late model Chargers and Challengers with neon...
