is that possible? currently i have a speedhut tach. On a MSD6HEMI ignition box. I am not sure if so but it is possible that the Tach is showing ie 6000 rpm but actually the engine is reving 7000 rpm? Can I put an Autometer tach parallel on the MSD Tach port to check that?

this looks really nice. Unfortunatelly I'm not a friend of carbon and especially if its just a carbon optic. I'm thinking of using the original dash, cutting the part out the instrument panel and let a friend make something out of wood. Not sure if this will work. And it will look a bit messy...

yep, I made it also. And I swapped the alternator with a modern one wire Bosch Alt from a BMW (dont forget I live in germany). Never had any charging probs anymore...

thats one reason. The main reason is that you dont route the Amperes thru the Headlight switch in your dash...

I mounted the relays left to the radiator on the cross member (?) to keep the cables short. The diagrams from rolling thunder shows exacty what I did...

hm, I made the same conversion 2 months ago and had similar probs. Engine starts and dies 2 seconds later. I found these failures: forgot to plug a hole in the carb baseplate. (vacuum leak) had to plug the reluctor/ecu cable vice versa (dont know why - never cutted a cable) now its cool...
