Non-Jeep magnum manifolds are basically the same. The early ones will accept a 2 1/4" down tube. Obviously the outlets are in a different location than your center dumps but if you're redoing the whole exhaust it really doesn't matter. Will you notice a difference? Yes, but a lot of that...

Why not grind off the offending bit of head? I'm assuming you're having trouble with the drivers side manifold outlet pipe hitting the smog port boss under the #7 port.

All A-body right side manifolds were center dump except 68-71 340. The outlet diameter changed, but the location didn't.

Exhaust bolt pattern the same for LA and Magnum heads. You'll have to plug the AIR holes under the ports for most manifolds.

If you want rear dump, then it's Magnum logs.

All A-body and most other small block right side manifolds are center dump. Left sides are generally rear dump. Are you trying to connect to the factory style "Y" pipe? If so, you'll need 64-66 manifolds if you are using a 64-66 "Y" pipe, as the left side dump was angled almost directly...

Tailpipes. Shorter muffler cases tend to drone more. Also consider stepping down to 2 1/4" mufflers and tailpipes. Plenty adequate for a 273.

Full tail pipes will make any muffler quieter.

If you are talking about 68-71 340 manifolds, the yes. But unless you have a set laying around, a set of garden variety headers would be cheaper.

Stock iron manifolds with 2.25" dual exhaust will be just fine. Next upgrade would be magnums, then 68-71 340 manifolds or garden variety headers. From 72 on all A-body V8 manifolds were basically the same, so any later manifolds are about the same as what you have now.
