I can remember when the track would open the gates at 8:00 am, and the cars were lined up down the road almost to rt 46. Start time shots at 9;00 am and finish racing after midnight.

I'm going to try for at least one of these races. Long haul for me . Mo-Kan is 1150 miles each way, and Mason Dixon is almost 900 miles ea way.

I have it "penciled" in. I would like to go, but Too far out, and I'm so far behind in getting things done.

It is a matter of opinion. You though it was great. I thought it was a waste of time. Hopefully 2023 will be better

I went to the FMA show at the horse park on Sat. They said the 1st 200 cars would park in the pavilion. The pavilion was not full. Not many venders in the swap meet. I was very disappointed. The FMA/horse park show for 2023 will be changed to May of 2023, and Garlits will still be in Nov...

I was there on Sat. seemed like a little better than last year. I bought a couple of items. I hope they spread the shows apart or recombine them. Horse park show might have a problem next weekend, with the storm coming.

This show (Garlits) used to be great. Many cars, and venders. Now it is a shadow of its former self. My opinion, if the powers that control the Garlits show, and the Florida Mopar ***. show, don't resolve their issues, both shows will crash and burn. We will have no show at all.

I'll probably go to both, as I am local. But as a spectator. Not bringing a car. If I had to travel, I wouldn't do either show.

My old "home" track, back in the 60's-80's. Haven't been there since 2006, for a visit.

I don't agree. Attendance at both shows sucked. In my opinion Neither was worth a long trip. Ok as a local show, both not as a "major" mopar show.

Agreed, needs to be combined, or both shows will die. Went to both. Granted the weather was not the best, but the old single show, had more cars, and vendors, then both of these shows, put together.

I went to both. Yes, Big Daddy was larger, but not by a whole bunch. If I wasn't local, I would say, "neither one was worth much travel".

I really don't care about any reasons. All I care about is the fact, we will probably lose both shows, sooner or later, if they don't resolve the problem. Vendors will not come if there are not enough people to buy parts, and those people will not come, if there are no vendors. We are Mopar...

Problem is Mopars with Big Daddy is the week end prior. A lot of people/vendors will have to pick one or the other, if they are not local. That will dilute the number of people at both shows. This used to be one combined show. I don't know what happened, but the powers that be need to resolve...

They are not on the same weekend. One week apart. Then you also have Moultrie, Ga, and Daytona Turkey Run (granted not Mopar only) the same month.
