Actually, the spacer is different depending on the year of the engine. 1967 down small pilot hole in the end of the crank. 1968 up large pilot hole in the end of the crank. The 727 trans had the same size converter pilot across those years.

I have one of those hones, but it needs new stones, and wipers. After you price the replacement parts, I think you will consider $150 for the shop a bargain. You will probably need at least two different grit stones, your talking about honing approx .157, you'll need a course set for that, then...

It is really irregular shape. Length is approx 65-66 inches, width 13 inches, heigt at the sender unit approx 12 inches.

Let me know both ways. the tanks do fit other years, but I'm not sure what ones. Mine is carbed, but I can make a fuel injection tank work, if it came with the sender/pump.

Yes. It will list pistons by bore size, smaller to larger. Valves by head size, stem dia, and length. Pushrods by diameter, length, type of ends. And give part numbers. For example look up a piston by bore size, then find the compression distance, and other specs. that way you can possibly find...
