Master cylinder for Front disc brakes on 67 Barracuda

The parts store books have been getting this wrong from day one. In 67 there was no difference between Power and Manual drum/drum but parts stores always gave me the wrong one if I said manual, If I said power I got the correct one. This was in the 80's Also in 67 there was no difference...

Rotors available (for now) for K-H disc brake cars

I think you meant to quote @mobileparts I suspect he has the rotor only for the early KH setup, you'd still need the hub. Alan

Wondering if anyone can help with info disc brake prop. valve.

The smaller device in your picture is a brake hold off valve, it goes on the front brakes on disc brake cars. I'm not sure what cars used it, my 69 C-Bodies have it, this setup uses the earlier style distribution valve. Alan

    KH Front Rotor Questions

If I read it right (Factory Service Manual) it is 0.810", that is factory rotors. I'm not sure is would be the same for different replacements. But the question is why do you need a Brake and Light inspection? I have lived in California all my life (50+) and never needed one on any of my cars...

67 Cuda Brake booster bracket firewall seal, gasket.

Interesting, there is no section 5-31-1 in the parts book, the other illustrations show 5-31-11 and that doesn't have A-Bodies In searching I ran across a post here that said that A-Bodies don't use it. So you may need help from someone with power brakes. Alan

    Car Code for Brakes

    "R-W" and "B-J" carlines and "all except R-W and B-J". What the hell is R-W and B-J??? R-W = R-Satellite & W-Coronet/Charger B-J = B-Barracuda & J-Challenger. I'm not sure where the confusion is. Alan

    Hydraulic Brake Switch Connections

I don't think so, see no reason for that. The switch is designed to detect a difference in pressure between the front and rear. Alan

    Hydraulic Brake Switch Connections

Looking at that picture as shown, the switch is in the middle, rears to the left, fronts to the right. Keep fronts on one side of the switch and rears on the other side. Other than that it doesn't matter what ports you use for what. Alan

    Brake lines go where

Here is the page from the Factory 73 Dodge Service manual It shows the fronts on one side of the switch (top) and the rears the other (bottom) Factory service manuals are your friend, only took a couple minutes to download it and find this to answer (clarify) this question. Alan

    Brake lines go where

This is from my 67 Barracuda The bottom (below the switch as installed on car) is the rear, master to the front of the block, output to the rear. Top master for front brakes, forward port left front, rear port right front Once you understand the switch separated the front and rear there is only...

    Parking Brake Delete?

If I have this thought out the equalizer bar isn't needed with the parking brake. With the hydraulics the piston expands pushing the shoes out at the top with the adjusters being the fulcrum. The parking brake pushes out the bottom of the shoes so the bar acts as the fulcrum as the pistons...

    One piece brake line set

The 70 probably had a separate proportion valve on disc brake cars, the later cars had it integrated into the distribution valve. What you need is probably dependent on the distribution valve that you are using. Alan
