    Don't despair Johnny -- balancers have rubber inside that won't withstand the heat to cure the powder. It's best to paint them.

    I'm DEFINITELY not well versed in this and won't claim to be. I'm only familiar with it through a few hipo articles over the years combined with my powder supplier manufacturing some of the highest-regarded coatings in the automotive industry. I encourage all of you to do your own research...

    Just Google "dry film lubricant" and "thermal barrier" coatings. I don't do them here but am somewhat familiar with the processes. You can probably even find a How-To video on YouTube. If you want to buy some, check out NICIndustries.com.

    LOL!!! I'd approve even more if my original plan to set the timing marks off in Hemi Orange had worked out but the castings wouldn't cooperate. The motor looks terrific Joe!!! You should be very proud of all your efforts. Can't wait to hear it run!

    If you have a Chilton's manual, look inside the back cover. There's usually a great little photographic troubleshooting chart there you can compare your plugs to.

    I've always hated Champions regardless of what I was buying them for, and have used Autolite 65s in my 340 for as long as I can remember.
