    mixing years

I think you'll get more crap about it on FABO than in the real world. Most people would just see a cool car, and not fret over every little detail. like the others said if it is at barrett-jackson as a 1 of 34 blah blah it should be right.

    Insurance for weekend car

Datsun Z car, fully restored. He ended up getting a policy with an agreed value with his regular insurance company, he didn't even know they offered it! I dont remember the company. Yeah good call. Based on his experience I wont go with them, my car will only be used occasionally- but not...

    Insurance for weekend car

My buddy just tried to get his car insured by haggerty, when asked what he would use the car for he mentioned pleasure driving on the weekend. The rep asked him to expand on that and to give examples. He said i don't know, take my son to get ice cream and drive around. They said well we...

Tried to go to the dealer for parts

I completely understand the parts availability issue for vehicles over 40 years old that are not part of the mopar performance catalog, I was just surprised that there was not a way to even look it up.

Tried to go to the dealer for parts

luckily the record for the bolt shows the exact dimensions, so if it exist in a bolt catalog I'll find it. Since this bolt looks to be the same for A-B-F-J-M I'm sure I can find one in the bone yard.

Tried to go to the dealer for parts

The guy at the counter says the computer will not let him look up anything before 1984! Does this guy not know what he is doing or is this the norm? Why I went there: I was looking for a lower balljoint to spindle bolt (unique head/length not available at hardware store) I was able to...

    I guess I didn't repond fast enough?

The problem I find with this is which do you do first, the thread post or the pm? You cant do both, and if someone else is doing them in the opposite order first in pm is not necessarily first in thread. Personally I'd rather just send a pm, and not bump up the ad. I figure it is a crap...

    Sloppy monday morning build?

mine was also atrocious. I did some basic cross measurements to make sure it wasn't taco-ed. My dad welded it up for me in a jig he built, see here in my build thread: post 38- http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=186036&page=2 Post 89-...

    help pricing my 1967 Barracuda

If it is nothing special, my wild guess is price of motor plus 4k. sell it tomorrow for somewhere between that and the price of the motor.

Neon wipers in a 68 Cuda

several people mention it also dakota, or minivan, I have yet to see pics. Some where there are pics of one with a ford ranger wiper motor. But really, any motor that parks and spins should be adaptable. the linkage does all the motion, the motor just turns- or not.

Anybody use AAA to move engineless car before?

I have done it, just told them it wouldn't start :) the tow truck driver wont care, easiest AAA tow of the day for him They may charge extra if you must have a flatbed. I requested a flatbed to tow vehicle I was towing when I was in an accident (no motor, brakes etc) and after the fact...
