    k-member reinforcement

This. And welding (heating) may make it out of square. Used a jig when I did mine to make sure it stayed square. Pics on page 2 of my build thread http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=186036 -Chris

    Bilstein Shocks

Hi James, I was going to send a pm, but figured others may want to know. Do you also sell a shock that is for "lowered" a bodies? If so, what is the difference? I ask because I stumbled on an old post about some with a different part number: 55 R097...

Steering turns sharp to the left but not to the right.

has the car had an alignment, or did you just assemble it?
  7. CudaChris67

    Which way does it go?

indeed, your pic show that the centerlink is not the straight type used 73up. take a look at my pic where the idler goes in, if you orient that tab correctly you should be good.

    Which way does it go?

here is a pic of my 67 stuff while still assembled The idler is slightly different than yours, but all else should be the same.

    alignment tool camber, caster

^^^I have driven this car before and after the driveway alignment and I have to say it has NEVER driven this well before. Using vinyl tiles from home depot as turntables and a crayon to mark the most level section of driveway sounds crude but it works!

Upper Control Arm Eccentric / Cam bolt location

Thanks Ross. I suspected so, no mention in the FSM. But is it odd...why bother stamping them differently? The letters are oriented differently in relation to the bolt head, maybe some sort of initial alignment while they were being assembled? Maybe a line worker knows...

Upper Control Arm Eccentric / Cam bolt location

Hello- While cleaning up and painting the upper control arm cam bolts, I noticed two are stamped with an "A" and another "B" and another "C". Upper control arms and bolts are from a 73 Duster, going on my 67 barracuda for disc brake conversion. Are these marks to locate the cams L/R and...

    Interest in Coil Over LCA's

I know the point of your thread is to gauge who IS interested, and not who is NOT interested. But it may be helpful to understand why someone may not be interested in what is basically a copy of another design that is intended to be different from the original (mopar design). When you say...

    Yes...Another Subframe Connector Question!

I have not seen any done quite like this, very nice. did you weld to the floor where it touched, or essentially just the ends that touch the frame? also, is that your orange cuda in the profile pic? where can we see more pics of that car?

Best place to buy front suspension bushing rebuild kit

Not sure where you are in cali, but I got my energy kit from this guy in modesto. very knowledgeable, and he even mailed out extra pieces when my brother ran into issues. http://suspension.com/ PS bought poly same as my brother, his car has no suspension squeaks. (mine is not assembled yet)...

    k-member repair

x2. repaired is a good thing! Since you have it out anyway, not a bad time to inspect and strengthen. I swapped my k and did a full re-weld and added reinforcements similar to what is linked above witha few enhancements. Here are the pics of mine (about half way down)...

    K frame ?

Sometimes they are "cut up" to replicate the direct connection big block k-member (or could be one bought over the parts counter in the 80s) If it is cut like that, you might be able to get some decent money for it. I just put a 73 k in my 67 barracuda. On the second page towards the bottom...

Bolt in Harness Bar don't do it!!!

No such mounting point on the 67 fb. :wack: since our cars are post-less, i think a vert style mounting (low and rearward) would be the most appealing retrofit.

Bolt in Harness Bar don't do it!!!

For those reading this thread in the future, it should be noted that mowrycuda68 has changed his avatar to a folding chair. Good sporting! oh btw Steve (4spd), I am playing hooky and working on my car tomorrow, since my car is all apart I will see if the 67 fb has a provision for a shoulder strap.

63 Dart front end disc conversion saga

sorry i see disc conversion in the title: http://www.moparaction.com/Tech/archive/disc-main.html relevant excerpt: Bear in mind, though, that 15" wheels are needed to clear the giant 11.75" rotors (see fig. ** ). If you can't bear to part with your mint 14" rallies, no sweat, we have...

63 Dart front end disc conversion saga
