I disassembled and painted my 62 pedal assy and am ready to reassemble. I got the new plastic bushings from brewers. I assume I should not put any lube on the outside of the bushing but should I lube the inside? If so what type of lube? thanks

I had an OD in a 66 dart with 3.55 SG. I loved it , great mileage good highway cruising and almost 11 to 1 final in first gear.

I bought an OD trans that has no levers or linkage. Ive been trying to find levers and linkage with no luck. Does anyone know the part numbers for the levers? Are the truck levers the same? I have found a lot of truck levers.

Let me rephrase this question. With the z bar installed on an a body (and the clutch pedal fully up) does the lower arm (engine side) point straight down or towards the front of the car? any help would really be appreciated.

The flywheel bolts I got for my 318 are 15/16" from tip to bottom of the bolt head. Is this the correct length. They seem to come very close to making contact coming out the back. I am using no type of washer and red loctite is this correct also?

How built up is you're motor? I'm assuming its a 340. And how long have you had the clutch?

A pretty knowledgable buddy of mine says its a truck tranny (granny). Thats why the flywheels to big also. But today I found the correct bellhousing,fork, z-bar and flywheel. A little more expensive but in great shape (and they are the correct ones!) just need the covers. And maybe a garage.......

The hole diameter is correct. Its the tranny mounting bolts that dont line up. I remember going to the track in the 70's and seeing blocks of wood bolted to the clutch pedal.
