Got the ladder bar setup in and now have to figure what coilover spring to "try" first? Getting the Jegs double adjustable ones and need to see if anybody is running them in a big block dart? 10 gallon cell in the trunk, battery relocated - be putting in a 6 or 8 point rollbar setup..... No...

I purchased the Comp Engineering lower mount that is notched for the brace. Did you use the same Jegs coilovers or did you need shorter ones? Any pics with the fab 8.75?

Why the Dana - what was up with the Moser Fab 8.75?

When you put the Moser fab w/ brace, did the upper mounts and coilover setup still work or did you have to relocate it/ change coilovers?

With the backbrace and 1" setback, my upper mount will be farther back - lower on the frame. Hoping the shorter shock will work.

I also enjoy fishing. A 7.4 pound Largemouth Bass is my personal best. A 10 pounder is my goal/dream. Don't have to catch them every time I fish, but you can bet I'm always trying!

I recently installed a Moser fab 8.75 with a backbrace, Dr. Diff offset front hangers, and Mopar SS springs. I moved the rear back an inch to get a bit more tire clearance, but with the backbrace, the stock shock mounting location wouldn't work. I was in the process of fabbing up a new mount in...

There's not a lot of room so I know the options are limited. Trying to get an idea of rear coilover shock length on a '73 Dart with ladder bars and stock frame. Anybody running a similar set up?

I test fit my first design but it was a bit off. I was hoping to keep the pipe within the connector but won't be able to and keep the connector straight. I was able to get a better measurement though for the next try.....

.......well, that's the plan anyway.......

I used a piece of 1 3/4" pipe and "flattened" it slightly to match the contour of the bulge. Notched the connector to match the pipe and plan on welding the landing plate (2 pieces now) to the pipe.

Think Ill try to fab up a contoured landing plate and see how it fits. I have access to a TIG at work but it may take me a while. I'll post pics - that is, if they turn out decent. Thanks again for all your input. Always nice to have ideas and experience to help along the way.

Thanks for replying - are you talking about where the connector ties into the rear frame? I've already got that cut and fit. This is where the left connector hits the trans crossmember. There's a bulge where the parking brake cable exits - the connector landing plate won't sit flat - ideas on...

That's what I'm doing but where the driver side connector contacts the trans crossmember, there's a bulge that won't allow the landing plate to sit flat. I am looking for ideas on how to address that.

That's the design I'm using, however, it doesn't indicate a different landing plate on the driver's side.
