    Youl'll have to play around and find your sweet spot for launch rpm. But the condition you described in your original post does'nt sound like it has ANYTHING to do with launch rpm.

    You can adjust the regulator to 10psi and still run out of fuel! It can't regulate it, if it don't have it!

    Well first thing I would get that filter before the regulator. And keep your line from regulator to carb as short as possible. This allows the regulator to pickup the most instant signal from the carb. Also IMO your system is on the edge of too small. Your probably spinning that thing around...

    hey dusty, I just reread my post. I told you wrong you'd need a heavier metering rod spring to fight the vacum and make your mixture richer sooner. Sorry pal, guess i got my carters and holleys confused

    sometimes afb's will go a little lean at this point. maybe try a ligther metering rod spring. I've fixed that problem before but never on a dual quad. But i doubt your vaccum advance is coming in that early. Just a suggestion, if you have the springs its a quick n easy job.
