It is a base and clear coat, but I am not sure on the specifics, I pretty much trusted them in what to do sin ceI do not know myself. Yes, to the tail stripe. I am leaning towards a flat black stripe, but may go with white. Good luck with your resto! I should have waited to some extent to...

I also took off the splash gaurds and there was a wee bit of surface rust but it will wire brush off. Some of it came off just by brushing it with my hand... I am anxious to get some work done this summer, but need to wait until finals are over. I work full time and go to school part time...

solid floors. The paint was bubbled up due a trainy leak seeping up through some wholes (nails wholes). But it cam right off and any rust was a very minor surface rust and came right up.

    The Nitrous 340 4-speed 68 Dart

Your using chemical stripper on the undercoating? What kind and where to you get it? I am using a heat gun and scrapper... Time consuming but ir works. If the chemicals work pretty quickly I will try it out. Of course I am on hold until warmer weather for now.

    I'm almost sorry...............

I have a '69 340 Dart and I know we are not the only ones on this site owning one. I can see why your so proud, they are cool. Although I do still love the '70 and '71. The grill on the '72 isn't near as cool. But like the others said... Pics please.
