Aluminum slots, My favorite ! American Racing makes nice aluminum center caps with or without logo. I have used them on several different brand wheels and they fit the same. About $20 each at Jegs or Summit. You may be able to contact them for screw hole to screw hole size.

My only complaint of Kumho's is they only lasted 7,000 miles on our PT Cruiser. They were 205/60/17's. Must have been a soft compound.

Same size wheel but a 165/75/15 on my 64 Dart. Had to clearance the front of the fender just a bit by adjusting the fender strut. 69 should have room with a 205/70/15. I ran that size on my 67 and 68 Darts on the front with a 7'' wide wheel no issues.

A 5'' wheel will have a 2.5'' backspace 6'' usually has a 3.25 backspace. Offset can be,usually negative for our old cars. I believe offset and backspace are one in the same as it is being measured from the centerline of the rim measured on the back side of the rim's surface lip to mounting...

Those would work as 26'' tall is fine on a a body.You may have to set the torsion bars up or down for front fender lip clearance when turning. All depends on how you want the car to sit. Do you have the rims ? A 15x 4.5'' or 5'' wide will work with a 6'' wide tire. The photo is for reference...

My 67 Dart with 225/70/15 rear and 215/70/15 front. No issues. Maybe just maybe the front may catch the very frontal edge of the fender. That can be adjusted with the fender strut in or out.

Look up tengtoolsusa.com They have a vintage tire size chart. They show up to a 205/70/13 Now finding some may be tough. Possible Tire Rack ?

Yes to the 165/80/15. That is what is in this photo. If you do a search on low cost tires they usually are narrower that a well known name (I use IronMan) Web sites usually give specs. Like a 195/75/15 will have about a 6 to 7 inch tread Just about max for a 4'' rim.Most I find are right at 6''...

My 63 Valiant had 205/70/14's on the front. I ran 15's on the rear @ 215/75/15. The foot pattern was about the same. 205/70/14 all round would fit nice.You can go larger on rears for looks.Up to you.

The early Dodge Dakota had a narrow (5''?) 15'' with a 4 1/2'' bolt pattern.The don't have the police car slots though. Or try Stockton Wheel and have a set made from the Mopar police car wheels. Look at Wheel Vintiques web. They don't show anything in 4 '' wide but may make it for you.

Check with tire shops and ask for the Hercules line of tires. They are a division of Cooper tires. I just bought 4 195/70/14's. One had a "Export Only" sticker on it. Maybe they are sold over there.

RR, It may be just me but it seems like tires that "Sit" are the problem ones. Not so much on daily drivers. I do keep a close watch as they get older. We have intense heat and asphalt temps can be 180+ at times.Concrete on the same day maybe 20* less. My daily driver PT tires are 7 years old...

Same car with factory 15x7'' after the bolt pattern was changed to the 4 1/2''. These wheels are from a 80's Dodge Diplomat the M body cars. 15x7'' with a 4 1/4'' backspace. I ran this wheel on multiple A bodies over the years and fit without any rubbing in the fenders.

This has been a problem with repop wheels for some time now. I believe that the producers have fixed this. Maybe you have some older stock. I have been told that a small die grinder to under cut that area will give the lip a better hold. Also a dab of silicone helps. Sad that for what they cost...

Agree. I bought a new PT Cruiser and installed a set of aftermarket wheels and tires. Had the most annoying shake at speeds over 50 mph. That's when I found out about hub centric rings.Installed a set from American Racing wheels to cure the shake.
