Well just some little stuff and fine tuning.

Got one in a box somewhere....in the silver 74 I had I broken a bracket for the PS pump at one point. I’ll have to open the hood and stand over it to figure out which belt is squealing. This has an aftermarket AC unit on it but didn’t make a peep on the run stand so my bets are in the PS pulley...

I was rooting around in my storage today for the 318 intake and some pulleys. Tried to find a TQ strap I know I have somewhere. It needs it.

Cleaning up some more. Have a drop in ready 360 done and moved on to this 318. 66 casting date steel crank. Bought it because it had 360 heads I needed somewhere along the line. This motor is pristinely clean.

Mama got to see it today. Would have had her take it out but I was busy tearing down a motor blocking everything when she got there. Sounds like I got a squeaky belt to tighten up. Trying to break ground on a garage. Out of space!!

JD mama has only seen pics. I drove it before we started getting all the rain. She is going to love it.

Found some trim rings and they made it in today. Duster emblems on the way. Got a nice little 318 going together soon.

Ok. Need a set of trim rings for a 15 inch rim for the back. She is done. Hot heat, cold AC. Shifts snappy enough to make your neck hurt. Waiting on new emblems.

Well the Diplomat daily ended up being out of the price point I was comfortable with...so there is that. Progress!

She ought to be a nice motor for someone. Maybe someone looking for a 67 motor for an old Belvedere or Coronet. Duster is wired, lights work, seatbelts in....

Now for the detail stuff. Looking for a matching passenger mirror versus just getting all new. Need one rear tail panel emblem.

Time for a wet sand and another coat of clear to make it silky smooth....

That was a custom Flake I ordered on line mixed in with DuPont clear over base coat. I’d have to go back and see who made that

Quick spray on a spare fender and some metallic flake. I dig it so she is getting a coat!!

No you can not buy a hubcap for that! I believe 440....Mikey drove to Tx to get it....

I can tell you those are not stock ralleye wheels. Just drove out of town for a few weeks but I can dig into it for you when I get home!

Well I can tell you it has potential but not for what I want to get into. It’s missing some weird stuff here and there. I have all but decided I will not touch it.

Crawled all over this car. A lot of good parts, but likely not worth my time and effort. Was originally a slant car now with 318. So that was the first lie the seller told. Rotten in some places, dented in others. When it is not 10000 degrees and I have some actual time I can decide for real...
