Im not anywhere near ready for a top, but Ive had this same question. I know id probably intall the top wrong if i did it myself, but im afraid a shop may mess it up also. As far as fabric , cloth is nicer looking, but i havent seen many on old cars.

Ok, for anyone who needs the same question answered, the manual top frame is different then the auto top frame (down were it hooks up the the cylinders). Someone was selling one on ebay and he sent me pics.

Its not the floor brakets i need pics of, its were the frame attaches to the lift cylinders, that would be very helpful. thanks

anyone switch from a manaul convertible top to an auto top? Do you have to get a different frame or will the cylinders hook up to the manual top frame? thanks

How different is the rear seat on a 67 dodge dart convertible compared to a 66 dart convertible? Any chance of using the seat covers for a 67 dart convert and get them to fit a 66 dart convert? I like the paterns on the 67 better.

Try Year One. Also, search ebay. when im ready for seals there is a guy on there that has all of them for early A cars, even convertibles.
