How much advantage in adding rear disk brakes?

Is that an 8.25 rear?? How did you do the e brake setup? I was thinking about doing this to my '42 Dodge pickup because it has an 8.25 and I have the Jeep brake setup laying here.

To convert to discs or not convert? That is the question!

Disc without question. My former '69 Barracuda used M body spindles ('80 Diplomat). Went on with no real challenges. Cheap to. Several people use them on B and E bodies as well. Cost effective way to get stopped. I would not think of sourcing all the parts for a K-H setup. Not worth the coin.

Thanks...I did not know there was so much info on the m-body and f-body disc brakes. You used to read those magazines all the time that said not to use them...lol So I need the upper control arms from a disc brake a-body?? '73-'76?

'69 Barracuda disc brake swap using m-body brakes?

I know that on some b-bodies that you can swap the spindles to disc brake units by robbing the pieces off of an F or M body. Why could you not do this to an a body?? and would it take different upper control arms??
