I bought a Hobbart 187 e-z handler 220 volt gas or flux. I've only used flux wire as I'm learning. I got it for around $400. Nice welder for me. Works like a champ.
I don't know the pressure. But would like to find out as well. A tip I learned the other day is to loosen the wire feed wheel if the welder has been sitting awhile so you can prime the hose with CO2 and not waste wire.
I got an 80 gallon compressor from an abandoned trailer house a friend of mine was renting out. I got it for 50 bucks. She originally thought it was a hot water heater. I had to replace about 60 dollars worth of parts. So $110.00 all in for an 80 gal tank not as good as free but still not bad.
When i was getting ready to build my shop i changed my mind and doubled the size. My Dad said, "it doesn't matter it still wont be big enough". Boy was he correct.
I have used rustoleum that I bought at lowes. Now you can get it at Walmart it works like a champ. I put the paint chips in mine. But wish I would have left them out. The chips make it hard to sweep or roll around on a creeper. Oil wipes right up. No problems what so ever.
I've have so many tools on my work bench I can never find a thing. So I take a break and put all the tools away. Then as soon as you are ready to get back to work...the first tool you need is not there because you just put it up. Go figure.
X2 on the air craft paint stripper. Do small areas 2'x2' then cover with plastic Saran Wrap. Let set for a while then scrape off with ease. I used a metal scraper ( metal scraper may be wrong but I used the heck out of it). Then wipe down with lacquer thinner. Then spray with MarHyde self...
I have the harbor freight one got it on sale for the $209. Couldn't be happier. Just be sure when you assemble it there is not a nut stuck inside the gun. Don't ask me how I know.
