I think the dash is completely different. Meaning you can't just put the gauges in there. I have a 70 dart. I made my own cluster to hold autometer gauges.

That's how you do it.

Use your finger and push the latch part of the lock all the way against the spring as far as it will go and the knob and internals will slide out.

I've got auto meter pro-comp ultra lites. I'm thinking about doing what young gun did. Are the dashes the same for a 70 swinger as his 68 or 69?

Not hard at all. Just find a set of manual collars from a member on here. Then cut off the bracket on the end of the column tube. Find all the console pieces and install.

IDK but dont dusters have larger fender wells?

My dash pad is gone too. I just assumed there was a company making replacements.

I just wonder how slick the neoprene is. Then again with a trunk that nice i don't think I would ever put anything back there.

There is a guy on here that did the trunk with neoprene. Looks awesome. Maybe "young gun" I could be wrong.

Some on here like the chrysler Sebring convertible seats with the incorporated shoulder belt. Another is the procar elite.

You may not like them. But.bass pro shop has cup holders made for there Tahoe boats that are chrome with a neoprene bottom.

Does the part your measuring go under the seat or up the fire wall? If that is the under seat part then the back carpet will overlap that part and it won't matter.

Has anyone purchased seat foams from "vintage auto works" (vintageautoworks.com)? I was wondering the quality and fit of the foam, if anyone has had any experience with them I would appreciate the comments.

I really enjoyed this article about the steering column conversion. I'm gonna start it tomorrow.
