A cracked rear ring gear is what i found so far. I don’t think thats why it won’t move. Ill pull the front section apart today.

I did air test with the pump in and it shifts fine. No flare or slip

So far no parts or pieces of any kind. I fact it looks almost new. Ais is coming out somewhere when I put air pressure to the clutch ports.

TA valve body. appreciate the info. Car won’t move in any forward gear and it should with the mvb. It acts as if it wants to. Just a little nudge is all.

If you choose a B&M, run the cable out the passenger side of the hump.

Not my money but if the fluid is good and not burnt up I would try replacing the modulators and solenoids. Crap in the pan is not unusual. Worst that can happen is you reuse them on a rebuild. IMHO

Everyone that has an automatic trans should go outside, jack it up and see that it will turn harder one way then the other.

Automatic tran is normal to spin harder one way.

If the cable is long enough like a b&m cable that comes with a shifter, I find it best to run the cable out the passenger side, then between the pan and torque convertor and up to the trans. If not, it’s a *****.

The indicator is a piece of tape. Put on whichever one you need.
