What aftermarket tach do you have? Any issues?

Autometer 3-3/8 Elite series, with backlighting shift light. Easy to read, and you set the backlighting color for shift warning to shift actual. So normal green backlighting, I set to turn to yellow at 6500, and red at 7000rpm. Never have to look ,just see the color change on the whole face of...

Which plugs are best for performance?

apply the same theory to older plugs of varying brands. Would be interesting to know if they get closer to short or open when they get more worn.

    "Race distributor". No ADVANCE?

Ah, I missed that then. If it can be locked out, it should be able to be reverted. Anything is better than messing with points.

    "Race distributor". No ADVANCE?

The MSD dizzy in question has mechanical advance. Someone just locked it down. Easy to revert it, and bushings are available so you can set timing in the low teens and have full advance when you need it. Do a quick google search on the model number and the lockdown feature. I'm sure anywhere...

Tail light, but no brake or turn signal

Don't daily drive. Too much hassle to even think of having the 1971 emissions stuff all functional. Historic plates. Drive it a couple of times a week when its not too hot out.

    help electrical problem!

I know its over 6 months old, but it was a thread that came up in my search on my tail light issue. Had a ground issue on one of my backup/reverse lights, and after installing some FABO purchased restored tailights and having the same issue as with my original taillights, it got me thinking...
