    I think the point is radiator shops usually do a crummy job of "finishing" radiators. If I have something repaired, we get it without paint and work all the slag and seams until clean. Then we etch prime and paint.

    I run a us radiator 26" Optima core and twin 12" spam fans. Cooling is not an issue. Stroker with ac. I'd back that timing off and open the radiator support.

    I would never use junk like that. Use 2 weatherproof relays like the ones supplied a painless kit for instance. Use a grounding GM style sensor in the intake. No problems ever. Easy bypass in case the sensor fails.

    I've installed both. Vintage is in a different league. Both can be a little hokey but I wouldn't suggest a classic unit.

    I can understand wanting to remove the box. However, I really like having fully functional heat/ac and defrost. Even cruising around today, humid, windows down ac on is real comfortable.

    Talking about a/c, what is the difference between Autofrost (R12 replacement) and 134? Are they interchangeable as long as you use Ester oil?
