Do you have a shot of this? Seems like a narrow tire. My Scat Pack came with 275s on 9.5s. My Dart is 275 35s on 9s.

Yes. Rear leads in, lips trimmed. Front has lips removed and bodyworked, not just chopped. Big offset to clear my brakes.

Rears in 3/4 lips trimmed. Front lips removed entirely. The big brakes in the front change the offset slightly, but the 18" allows me to use a 6.4" backspace. It fits perfectly. I can run tight clearance because the body doesn't roll too much, tires are stiff and the offsets are just right.

I run 18s so I can get away with tighter clearance, but 275 40 18s fit perfect with the offset kit and 18x9s.

Good in theory, but the reality is the stiffness of the carcass has a lot to do with performance as wwll as rubber compound.

For what its worth, the second wheels in the original post are carbon copies of what I have. I run 18x9 all around with a tire height of 26". Many may hate it, but in person it looks good.
