    3.23 to 3.55?

    With 27” tires I would opt for 3.73 gears if you are buying a new set of gears, 26” tires & the 3.55 would be fine.

    Well it only took a year & a few months to decide on a Gear Vendors. Hopefully get it in this weekend & get the driveshaft made next Monday.

    Thinking about 4.10's

    You mainly have to worry about cam selection when you go higher gear, lower gear like 4.10 will work with any combo. I'm running 4.10 w/ 28" tires on my 727 & it's a daily driver, you'll be fine for sure on a fun driver w/OD & 4.10.

    Pinion angle w/driveshaft in.

    This is what I use. Use it for initially setting up front end alignment too. Heck I got 5000 miles & still haven't gone to the alignment shop. Shop IRWIN Magnetic Angle Locator at Lowes.com

    I've just now looked up some on the forum to see what modifications need to be done & if you aren't trying to get the car down in the weeds it looks like it's a bolt in. I'm running super stock springs in factory hangers so it's pretty high in the back.

    I am about to pull the trigger on getting a Gear Vendors OD for my '67 383 Barracuda. I know they just bolt into a B & E body but what about an A-body, is the tunnel just as wide as the B/E tunnels?

    Dart SBC 8-3/4" rear axle dia vs Yukon

    I got a '69 Dart and it came with a 8-3/4" housing in the trunk and a set of stock axles and a set of new Yukon axles. I thought that the Yukon axles were a lot thicker but they are the exact same diameter as the stock axles. Does this look right or could these be C body axles cut down and...
