You have to be INSANE to have long-tube headers on a big-block A-body Mopar!

I have mine sitting a little higher than stock height so I don’t have the ground clearance to flange issue or tire rubbing. I used a DEI starter heat shield under the master to protect from heat. I’ve got about 4 years/20,000 miles on this set-up so far & it’s worked well for my application.

You have to be INSANE to have long-tube headers on a big-block A-body Mopar!

I went thru all that mess & decided if I’m going to keep the car & maintain it, I’m not going thru all that trouble just for a starter because no telling when/where one will go out. My 67 383 Formula S has a vintage set of NOS Hooker 1 7/8” Fenderwell headers with an old 70’s white textured...

What Are You Doing To/With Your Car Today?

It’s like Chrysler knew the gear vendors would be coming out in the future. I didn’t have to ding the pan anywhere.

    Badges, I need Stinkin' Badges!

I don't have any badges on my 67 FB Barracuda. It is funny to hear what people thing it is. What's weird is i have had more people think it's a Pontiac than anything.

Many New Cars Have No Spare Tires

Watch out, once they get that extra 45lbs from the spare out to get better MPG they will be looking for more weight savings. The next MPG savings is going to come down to the driver, your BMI better be on point or you will be fined....

Anybody has a lead on where to get wiper refills?

Autozone Get the cheap house brand wiper blades & they have removeable refills so you can slide them out & into your stock style blades.

What non Mopars do you have?

The non-Mopar we have is a '10 Ford Raptor with the 6.2L. It's what we got for my wife & she really likes them. We found this one 2 years old & only 10k miles at the time. It's her deal & we talked about getting the new Power Wagon but it just doesn't do it for her like the Raptor does.

Show "YOUR, REAL" 383/440 '67-'69 Barracudas...NO CLONES please

Finally got my '67 383 car on the road. It's a 383/auto/red out/blk inside car & still retains its original paint from the doors back. It's been off the road since the early 80's. 120mph Speedometer correct for '67? It was in the car when I got it but I thought for some reason it...

    Ordered a new Challenger today.

I thought it did, isn't that the only way you get that wing with the dip in the middle? In 2015 when I got mine that was the only way to get that wing.

    Ordered a new Challenger today.

I am really surprised you cannot find one thru the nation wide search. That's what I did back in 2015 when I tracked down exactly what I wanted. I had to drive 8 hrs to get it but that was just a fun weekend trip. White looks awesome with the red interior. Cars for Sale: New 2017 Dodge...

I have been test driving new Challengers.

I've had several, a '09 R/T manual Plus, '15 R/T manual Plus Classic STP & now a '14 R/T auto Shaker Edition. The 15 & up to me isn't all it's cracked up to be. I didn't care for the interior of the '15 & up. The '15 just felt like any other newer car, it's just like some of the Jeep SUV's &...

    What's Your Stand On Stance?!

Mine are on the back, I'm meaning the front of the rear fenderwell where A-body's are typically close to the tires when running large rear tires.

    What's Your Stand On Stance?!

That's what I'm running, 275/60R15 on 15x8". They don't fit under the car but they don't run the front of the fenderwell, they are about 1" from it.

    What's Your Stand On Stance?!

Depends 100% on the car. Some body styles look good IMO low, some look better tall. It really just depends. The current car I'm working with, a '67 FB Barracuda, looks good with Super Stocks & 275/60's which put it up in the rear. I'm running 155R14 tires up front on 14x5 ET V's & the...

Rear window louvers for... a fish coupe?

Louvers would look cool on a notch back I think. I'd like to find a set of louvers for my '67 FB Barracuda but I've never seen any. The eye candy pic to me is the opposite, makes me cringe, not a fan of late model stuff in old cars.

Awesome A-body air dam for under $30!

IMO, the 1st generation Camaro front spoiler looks better & fits the 60's/70's looks of the a-body better. The others look like something off a late model adapted to fit.

    Let's see your first A-body!

After a couple B-body's & E-body's I finally went to an A-body. My first one was a '69 Dart Swinger, /6 car. I pulled the /6 & put a MP 360 shortblock with eddelbrock heads, made it my daily till I sold it for earnest money for our house.
