There are pros/cons to fuel cells on the street but for the most part should be fine. If you decide to go back to an OEM tank but think you might still run the car, you can always buy an OEM with a sump installed.

I have the 8007 on the 318. They list it for the 318, 340 & 360. Range: Idle-6K. This is their only Action Plus for a SB. There is a 8022 Stealth also listed for the 318. 340 & 360. Range: Idle-6800. Both are dual plane manifolds. Perhaps the Stealth is what you are referring to as...

The float is on the end of your sending unit. Once you pull it, you can get a better idea if the float is damaged and if it needs to be replaced. Inspect the sending unit and test it as well. I believe both can still be purchased through your local dealer (the float for sure). Re: the gauge...
