The codes on a fender tag I don’t think are consistent from plant to plant or year to year. My tag doesn’t have an alternator code (F code) yet I’ve seen many tags that do have a F code. And my Scamp did come with an alternator!

looks like a solid purchase! Does it still have the fender tag? Was it built for the export market? Since the speedo is in miles I presume it was a US spec car that was imported later in life to Europe?

Is that colour LL1 (turquoise)? One of the two best colours in ‘68 (along with MM1 turbine bronze) IMO.

Ahh the 76 typo makes more sense since the dash cluster is also 72 and earlier! If it was a 76 then the previous owner did a great job making it look like a 72!

Welcome! Looks like a nice Duster. Post up more photos when you can! I get it if you don’t want to answer this one….. did you spend less than $25k on it? We have a member on here that swears he hasn’t been able to find a decent A body for less than $25k for well over a year.
