Yep this weekend! The area looked nice and peaceful when I left earlier this evening, but tomorrow the craziness begins.

Checkout the Downtown hotels, they can be pretty reasonable. The Gold Spike is not too bad if you're basically looking for a place to sleep. Downtown Grand, The D, 4 Queens and El Cortez sometimes have deals also.

Let the games begin! The cars are rolling in and getting tech'd, people are setting up their pits, vendors are setting up their tents and displays....looking good. Best of all the weather is nice!

Set up has begun today, the tents are going up and spots being marked off. The weather has been holding and just a little bit of wind today. Should be a good one!

Another fine abody that you'll be seeing this weekend at MATS! It will probably make a pass down the 1/4 mile too, not just a trailer queen.

Racers get a trailer parking with their race entry and if you tow with your rv it's included with your race entry. The RV fee's are basically for spectators that get parked in the RV area.

We go Mr Norm coming out this year for his 50th Anniversary. They'll be a couple prototypes of the new cars coming out on display. The events coming up quick so get your pre-sale tickets.

If you're racing you'll get a pass with your entry to stay in your hauler if needed. The weather patterns look good for this year, but we all know how that goes. We've had the event on different weekends throughout the years, but we always get some kind of strange weather. But there's...
