I have installed the headliner with the windshield out. With the windshield in, my suggestion would be take it to a trim shop in your area. Good luck.

I well have to look for one, but hope I can explain. Accross the top of your side windows is a lip where the roof and side of car meet. the headliner goes just pass the lip and is glued and clipped there. Around the front and rear windshield is a lip as well. But it is easier with the windoew out.

Frirst thing is to try and find the leak. Spray some window cleaner around the outside of windshield. The take an airhose and blow from the inside out, look for bubbles. Little harder to check the wpers but the same method can be used. Just harder to get to the underside of wiper arms. There are...

If you try to mount without the spacer, it will be hard to get your knees between the wheel and seat. I wish I had Joey's pics before I mounted. I already had the adapter so I just had to take apart and reinstall.

1 way I have heard of but not yet tried. Get extra springs and install from cross ways. I would think near the center of the seat, maybe 2 rows. That would tie the springs together and "even out" the load. But you would need to remove the covers and foam. Just a thought.

I don't have a pic but your discription sounds right. On my back 1/4 window it is white. they dry out and break easy. I think I have seen them at R/T specalist dot com.

I got my new bezels from parts store (Advance Auto). Just went to the "HELP" section and found a pack of assorted lock knobs and had assorted bezels in there as well. Cost was like $3. and fit my 71 perfect.

Redfish. That is the way I done it but it just seams like the water does not come out in a strong flow. It has not pressure when coming out and just seams like it is cloged.

Thanks for the offer dartcuda but if I replace may as well go new so I (hope) wont have to do again in a few years. Redfish. I flushed the system and just can get much flow out of the core. I put my water hose on the core hose and just cant get it to break up crud.

I believe that the reinforcement plates were welded to the underside of the car. That way the bolt heads would not get pulled through the floor board.
