I would think stock wheels you should be able to go 235's. I have 225's on the rear of my 71 Swinger and have a little room.

Might wanna try a local machine shop. A local shop here will widen them. I have not used them but a guy I know has. They widened a set of steel stock 17in ram truck wheel. looks factory.

Thanks 68. That is what I was looking for. The tires only rub in one certain spot. Once I turn enough to get past that spot their ok.

Hey all. My question is, what size spare to use? I have 205-60/15 on the front. 225-60/15 rear. The rear end is a 8 1/4 SG. I would think if I have a flat on the rear I need a tire the same diameter, right? But a 225 will rub on the front fender when I make a turn. So instead of trial-n-error...

I got my BFG T/A's from tirerackdotcom They were $35 cheaper and cost me only $10 to have them mounted\balanced by the local guy. He could not come down on his tire price.

one thing i see is the wheel weight. Maybe paint them so they dont stick out and slap you in the face. but them black wheels are looking great.

i would just check out some of the local machine shops. you would be supprised at what they can do. near me is a little shop, you can take them the wheels you want to use and they will put them together. and can widen them. a buddy of mine is haveing the stock 17" steel wheels from a 04 ram...

I think that if you want 295 or 275 you will need some sort of mini tub. In the factory wheel well i think 245 is about the largest you can go with no issues on either side of the tire (spring or lip clearence)

I did try the alum wheels off the wifes 01 Grand caravan on my dart for sh1ts and giggles. They looked pretty good. I have a b-body 8 3/4 rear. only done it for a few minuates and I cant remember how close it was to the lip. Heck I may have to try that again and get some pics.

I have a set of furd wheels at the house with tires on them, i bought them for the tires. The bolt pattern is the same but like stated above the center hole is where the problem is. the furd center is to small to fit the hub. if you grind about a 1/8 off the side it should fit.
