Traffic on these web boards seems to be dying. I remember the height of it in the early 2000s with Yellowbullet and other web boards. B bodies site seems to be dwindling. I think I joined this one later but don’t post much.

It’s absolutely insane. I decided to find a nice old 1st gen 12valve. No ECU, no BCM, No DEF, no emissions at all. Just need one with no rust lol.

Nate was at Drag Week a few years back with his nitrous fox running 7s. He’s a talented guy for sure.

I’ve ordered fiberglass from VFN, Unlimited and Glasstek. The Glasstek is really nice fiberglass. The VFN is easily a close second. The Unlimited stuff was cheap, flimsy, race type fiberglass. Completely different scenarios. The hood is unpainted and requires more work to complete. In your situation, it’s a negotiation on a depreciating asset and you’re standing there in person.

I understand both sides of the argument here, but if you remove emotion and apply logic, returning it for a refund will most likely cost more than repairing, which would be negligible given the prep work required to paint the hood anyway. Then comes the question of who pays that freight bill...

They’ll most likely recommend a proper fiberglass repair with resin and mat. It’s not hard to do.
