Okay that makes sense. It is definitely a 8.75 then. 7.25 looks like a small 8.25 correct?

Perhaps I am mistaken then. It is more than likely a 7.25" rather than the 8.75" as originally stayed. I have a 3.23 742 carrier out of a 66-67 b body. Would that housing fit with a perch relocation?

Any thoughts on what brand fenderwell headers to seek out? Hooker 5208's appear to be all that is currently offered. Not sure what it is Are you saying the 8.75 is swapped in? Did the 273 Commando start in '65?

Funny you say that. There is a set of factory disc brakes in the trunk.
