Engine and transmission went in today!!!

We were going to mount the rear axle and drop the engine and tranny in however the parts did not come in on time. Next week.

Picture of Mike was taken on an Observation Post in Afghanistan. We are going with the same colour on the Barracuda.

:sad10:Hello and sorry for the tardiness of this. We have started her up and its going OK. We are going to drop the engine and tranny in her next week. Its been a tough go. We really lost time when that production lot screwed us over.

Hey folks! She's now at Sandale Fabrication, a local fabrication shop. The under carriage has been sandblasted and now some parts will be replaced or fabricated.

Good job!! Its amazing what you can do with some desire and some knowledge!! Nice car!

Nice looking car. We're shooting here for a 2010/early 2011 completion. My buddy will be interested in this.

The Barracuda has now been moved to a local body/fabrication shop. More pics within the week of the new trunk, etc.

This car is an emerald green and it will be painted in the same colour! the next step is to hang the doors and send her in for some body work by a great local body shop and fabricator!

We just returned late last night from the World of Wheels in Winnipeg! I was up at 6 AM and chipping tar and wire wheeling at 9 AM!!

I wasn't going to say anything, but this is heart wrenching. Such an abuse of beautiful cars.

I bought the Charger in 78 and traded it in for the Mirada in 80. I'm still sorry I traded the Mirada off. That car would have been an awesome sleeper car. It had a 318 in it. All we had to do was get the engine done up and she would have rocked.

These are one piece pans and the tunnel is in great shape. We cut the old ones out and welded the one piece ones in. I'm no expert on this, but I think fibreglassing would help your car too, any other opinions are welcome!!
