    Radiator overflow tank

My preference is for the recovery set-up with a easily visible level and downward tank venting. No fuss, no drips, no hot coolant steam in the face...and I know whats going on without removing the cap, hot or cold.

    76-80 F mopar recovery tank.

    Fan clearance

Unshrouded about an inch is good. Allows for fan flex at rpm and some driveline movement. Shrouded fan doesn't matter how far from the radiator, just blades half in/half out of opening for efficiency.

    Custom mechanical fan builder

2-1/4" is pretty thin for a clutch fan blade. I've got one of them thats approx. 2-1/4" but the rest are much closer to 3". The clutch fan blades I've compared are typically a steeper pitch than fixed fan blades.

    Custom mechanical fan builder

not a site, measured some from a personal stash. you'll need about 3" radiator to belt/obstruction (other than wp snout) clearance to swing a 2" fan. from your picture it doesnt look like you could swing a big enough blade to do any good.

    Custom mechanical fan builder

you can fit 10# in if you stack it carefully. for sure check your pulley diameters. should be a substantial difference, could be an inch or more. checking fan stash only 2 are even close to 2" thick. 18" factory 5 blade flex and a 18" factory 7 blade fixed are both just under 2-1/8". another was...

    Blower motor resistor wiring help?

Looks very much like a 77-78 aspen/volare w ac piece. Same offset mtg holes. By 79 they were even. F,M,J and late B bodies have a lot in common.

Heater delete firewall plate. Measurements please?

1969 Dodge Dart upper radiator hose w/o AC

Nice. CNY was death to a winter driven car of that era. Back when they used salt I remember watching the threshold trim slowly dissolve away... Lucky it didnt get many miles!

20" is 1974-79, A,B,C and E, 318 thru 440 3462190 18" is mid/late 70's up, could be hd cooling on a slant. parted a bunch of those. 3870107 they both have a healthy pitch to them. Coolant Reserve System Radiator cap

take off the overflow/recovery bottle cap. look at the two hoses coming down from the inside of the cap. The "overflow/puke" hose should be much shorter than the ""recovery" hose. Recovery hose should go to the bottom of the tank. Puke hose should end well above your 1 qt. full line. heres a...

    Coolant Reserve System Radiator cap

where the lines end underneath the overflow bottle cap/inside the bottle determines which is which.
  17. Jimacuda

    Coolant Reserve System Radiator cap

There is only one line from rad to bottle so the cap either works or doesnt. Cap doesnt control which hose coolant runs thru. Thats controled by where inside the bottle the lines open end is located. Low for dump/pick up, higher for overflow/dumping on ground. I'd swap the two lines on the...
