Just get an old /6 and run vegetable oil, or sewing machine oil, or popcorn oil, or coconut oil, or canola oil, or hemp oil, you'll be all right.
235/60-15 or 245/60-15 will get you in the 26"- 27" tire size.
355 is a pretty good all around gear. Go any taller and freeway driving starts to suffer. I think you will like it.
I am a fan of the Flowmaster 40 series muscle car sound, and have them on 2 of my cars.
But I am a bigger fan of flow and performance.
For flow, there are better mufflers out there.
Magnaflows will be on my next car.
I have the original Flowmaster 40 series on both my cars. Sound wise,I think Flowmaster has the muscle car sound down. But flow wise,there is better. My next set of mufflers will be Magnaflows. Flow is now more important to me than sound.
You say you just want a cruiser. The single plane manifold is killing you.
You need to go to a dual plane manifold,for the street.
